 As per the Special Assessment stipulations, in order to meet the contractor’s payment schedule, 90% of the required funds must be secured in advance. This ensures that we remain on track with project timelines and fulfill our contractual obligations without delays. 

 Complete an arborist tree review  to ensure compliance with City of Miami Lakes Ordinance No. 12-151 and to support our community’s road resurfacing goals. This review helps protect our tree canopy while allowing necessary infrastructure improvements to proceed responsibly and in accordance with local environmental regulations. 1. Consult with Legal Counsel Review legal considerations related to tree removal, easements, &  homeowner responsibilities. 
2. Meet with the Town Arborist Coordinator
3. Secure Vendor for Tree Removal Services
4. Engage with Identified Homeowners
   Discuss tree-related findings and necessary actions on or near their properties.
5.  Obtain Homeowner Approvals for Tree Removal

Collect and deliver all required paperwork  to the Town of Miami Lakes Building and Zoning Department.

Tree removal company will be onsite removing 9 identified trees located mostly on the west side along the perimeter wall.

While the permit is awaiting approval, Sunshine 811 will be contacted to locate and flag underground utilities such as gas, water, and power lines. This is a free service.
